• Recently tanned skin can be treated-Sunburned skin cannot be treated.

• Discontinue Retinoids and Active Topicals (5 days before)
  Stop using products containing Retin-A, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or other strong exfoliants to avoid irritation.

• Arrive with freshly cleansed skin—no makeup, lotion, perfume on the treatment area.

• No Dermal Fillers (within 4 weeks)
  If you've recently had injectables, it’s recommended to wait at least 4 weeks before undergoing treatment in the same area.

• If you are taking Accutane, or have taken it in the last 6 months please notify office ahead of time

• If you are taking any antibiotics, please notify office ahead of time as some make your skin very sensitive to treatment
