Spider veins (also called telangiectasia) are tiny, dilated blood vessels that become visible beneath the skin’s surface. Common causes include:
Genetics
Sun exposure
Hormonal changes (e.g., pregnancy, birth control)
Standing or sitting for long periods
Aging
They often appear on the legs, cheeks, nose, or chin, and can become more prominent over time.on text goes here

Targeted Heat: The laser emits a wavelength of light that’s absorbed by the blood vessel without affecting surrounding skin.
Vessel Closure: The heat causes the vein walls to collapse and seal shut.
Natural Fading: Over time, the treated vein is reabsorbed by the body and fades from view.
Treatment is quick, and most patients describe the sensation as a light snap or pinch. GentleMax Pro’s built-in cooling system helps keep the skin comfortable throughout.
-
Gradual Fading: Treated veins will gradually shrink and fade over 2–6 weeks as your body absorbs them. Some may disappear sooner; others may need follow-up sessions.
Multiple Sessions May Be Needed: Depending on the size, depth, and number of veins, 2–3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart may be recommended for best results.
Healthy Vein Circulation Remains Intact: Only unwanted, superficial veins are treated. Your body naturally reroutes blood through healthier nearby veins.

8 weeks before treatment and throughout the course of treatment patients are advised to:
No tanning and sunless tanners
The area to be treated should be shaved one day prior to treatment as closely as possible
On the day of treatment no lotion, makeup and perfume should be used on the treatment area
If you are taking Accutane, or have taken it in the last 6 months please notify office ahead of time
If you are taking any antibiotics or blood thinners, please notify office ahead of time
5 days prior to treatment avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Fish oil, Alcohol or any other medication or herbal supplement that may cause thinning of the blood
Avoid treatment while pregnant

Tylenol is recommended for any pain, as needed
AVOID THE SUN-completely after treatment for 4 weeks to reduce hyper pigmentation. Use a broad spectrum SPF 45 zinc oxide or titanium dioxide with UV A/B sunblock
Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours after treatment
Wait at least 8 weeks before the next treatment as resolution of the vessels continues throughout this entire period
Your leg veins may appear bruised or darker red following treatment. This discoloration will fade over the next few weeks. Brown discoloration may take several months to fade
